Hand ‘n’ Heart stuffed hundreds of socks for those living on the streets in the nearby communities, as a way to spread holiday cheer.
MOUNT LAUREL — Hand warmers, hats, gloves, scarves, candy canes and other holiday treats filled the tables inside the township library on Sunday.
After a few hours, all the items were tucked inside large thermal socks as part of Hand ‘n’ Heart’s first “Stuff a Sock ‘n’ Warm a Heart” event.
“We feel everyone deserves some holiday cheer, no matter what,” said Trisha Baum, founder of the local nonprofit.
Baum’s organization gained nonprofit status in July to help those who are addicted and homeless, and to also assist foster children.to keep your blog organized with Categories that also allow visitors to explore more of what interests them.
